Description:

A one-of-one archival C03BLK Arctic-lined coat, produced during Carhartt’s final years of full U.S. manufacturing - part of the line’s most collectible chapter, finished with the “Crafted with Pride in U.S.A.” tag used only in the late 1990s.

Cut from black 12oz duck canvas with a corduroy collar and diamond-quilted lining, the piece carries decades of honest wear. Nicely broken in, distressed, sun-faded, restored with care, adding unique / well-loved touch. The V-stitch hand restoration with the years of work distress gives it a scarecrow-like beauty - detailed and deliberate, paying homage to its years of labour through texture and form.

Care & Maintenance

To better maintain the condition of your item, we recommend treating it with care.

Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites.

For vintage t-shirts, if the item contains graphics always iron inside out on low heat setting. When washing, aim to soak with similar colours in cold water.

For vintage advertising posters and lithograph prints - these items will arrive rolled up in tubes, we do not recommend folding these items unless this is their pre-existing state (such as magazine posters). We recommend positioning prints facing away from direct sun, keep them in frame, not using any glue or chemicals to prop in frame, if kept outside of frame we recommend gentle dusting methods.

For vintage books & publishings - we recommend storing these in safely away from potential damp or humid areas but also away from direct sunlight to maintain original state of covers. To maintain page conditions we recommend browsing with clean hands to prevent unexpected reflections.
